Wisewood is a 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in the north west of Sheffield which serves a compact and stable catchment area in this popular area of the city. The school is a positive place to be and is keen to offer high quality education and learning opportunities in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
As a specialist sports college we offer superb sports facilities both to our students and the local community in our sports centre. We obviously want to encourage everyone to lead healthy, happy lives and to achieve the highest possible levels of success in their learning. We are proud of our success over recent years with rising exam results and students who make a postive contribution to the community they live in.
The excellent work that the school does was recognised by Ofsted in a visit they made in May 2009 when they categorised the school as "outstanding" in every category. |
